Tom Christenson: A Walk in the Woods, October 19-December 2, 2024
Woodworking artist Tom Christenson returned home to Door County in 2021 after a career on the West Coast. Previously a fine furniture builder, he now devotes his time and skill to woodturning. This remarkable exhibition includes decorative plates, bowls & vessels. All the artist’s proceeds from sales of his work are generously donated to support the programs of United Way of Door County.

Largely influenced by constructivism, abstract expressionism and Pop art, B. Basch often employs found materials as a catalyst for his work. He has been painting since the mid-1970s and is well known to Door County art enthusiasts and collectors. In his own words: “I don’t paint pictures of things; I make objects that are things.”
