Largely influenced by constructivism, abstract expressionism and Pop art, B. Basch often employs found materials as a catalyst for his work. He has been painting since the mid-1970s and is well known to Door County art enthusiasts and collectors. In his own words: “I don’t paint pictures of things; I make objects that are things.”
